The Future Starts Here. A Conference Worth Attending

17 SEP 2010 By Mark Boyd

Sitting in London it is easy to forget that there is a big country outside the M25. But that can be a big mistake for anyone involved in the high-tech, start-up or investment community. The best example of that right now is a conference coming up on October 5th in Cambridge. Called “The Future Starts Here: The Cambridge Phenomenon”, the conference is a stark reminder of how much of the key technology and innovation that has sprung from the UK has started in Cambridge.

The conference is filled with some of the most important and seminal figures in the technology and biosciences industries. It includes head to head competitions amongst young start-ups and talks and panels by the people who I have come to believe drive a great deal of what constitutes real innovation in this country.

The conference is here and you can follow them on Twitter.

If you actually like to know what’s going on you’ll probably be heading up to Cambridge on October 5th.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?
