FitFinder — the controversial social media site that allowed mainly university students to post flirtatious comments about each other — is relaunching today as Floxx.com. And it is just as, if not more, flirtatious.
Those not familiar with the controversial site, it was designed by a London student, Rich Martell, to allow users to post anonymous comments about people they had seen. If you worked out the comment was about you, you could reply to that user through the site and let the magic begin.
The site was blocked by many university networks. Despite this, it grew to cover more than 50 campuses and was reported to have received more than 5 million hits before Mr. Martell had to close it down.
The new site is backed by two angel investors, Doug Richard and Kevin Wall, an Emmy award-winning producer.
