Newcastle University Careers Service

Newcastle University Careers Service aims to be one of the most effective, expert and innovative HE careers services in the world. Its mission is to develop enterprising students who can self-manage, interact and apply their knowledge and skills in a global context. It offers careers advice, guidance and skills development opportunities, curricular and extra-curricular enterprise and entrepreneurship education as well as business start-up support to over 19,000 students and graduates of Newcastle University. The Service works on an on-going basis with over 80 of the Times Top 100 graduate employers and around 500 small and large enterprises throughout the North East. The service won the 2009 AGCAS Entrepreneurship Excellence Award and boasts a number of other national awards: AGCAS Excellence Awards 2007 and 2006. Institute of Career Guidance National Awards 2005, 2004, 2002, 2001.
