Ive been attending several workshops, and am nearing the launch of my new product. Along the way, I've checked out literally DOZENS of graphic designers, and found most to be way too expensive, or incapable of actually drawing (as opposed to manipulating existing images). Anyway, I ran a competition over on logomyway.com and got some great results, at a fraction of the price if costs me a UK designer to come up with some concepts that I threw away. The winner of the contest was a designer in Indonesia, who I have found to be a superb resource to my startup team - talented, helpful, creative .. anyway, in case anyone needs a great, cost-effective design resource, I cant recommend this guy highly enough :

Thankyou for this recommendation, it is brilliant how we can utilise the internet helping us find the best resources. Using such a mechanism to get the best result is very clever, I wonder how many things could be outsourced in such a manner.
