hi there, am interested in starting an export business with Maltese traditional foods like honey rings,pea and cheese cakes and many more.
my friend and I already distribute our products locally for about 2 years now, and we wish to export them in uk as we believe that our products will go very well in uk and as well as a new product.

Hi, that sounds fantastic. I'm half Maltese, living in England, and would love to get hold of the food we enjoy back home over here, especially pastizzi! We make several Maltese dishes ourselves here but they never taste quite the same as they do back in Malta.
My husband may be able to offer you some guidance as a favour for a fellow Maltese. He ran a UK-based catering business for several years here and could probably point you in the right direction, or to the right people here, as a start. Pleeeeese do this! There are so many bits on the internet about people confused as to why there is nowhere to purchase Maltese food in the UK, and why no Maltese cafes etc. I would be interested in hearing how you get on. Keep in touch x
