Coming to Sheffield for the Made Festival? Bring The Family…

04 AUG 2010 By Mark Boyd

No one works harder than entrepreneurs, and no group is better at mixing business with pleasure.  The MADE Festival represents a great opportunity to do just that.  In addition to a great four day conference filled with social, networking and training events designed to help you build a better business, the MADE Festival provides a great venue for some time off with your family.

There are several great places to shop, including the Meadowhall Shopping Centre, the Devonshire Quarter and Orchard Square. For kids, teens and active adults we recommend Aerial Sheffield. Boasting over 30 exciting obstacles, guests fly along on speedy zip wires, mid-air jumps, suspended gravity defying walls and much more! The outdoors has never been this much fun. No experience or skill is required, just a sense of adventure.  The Magna Science Adventure Centre is a great treat for families as well.  Walk on air, feel the heat of a fire tornado and blast water cannons. Defy gravity and explore the limits of science the outdoor playground.  You can even bungee jump.

More sedate Sightseers will enjoy Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Weston Park Museum and Chatsworth, home to the Devonshire family for hundreds of years.  Enjoy the farmyard, the adventure playground, and the 105 acre garden with its cascades, fountains and maze.

MADE is a great festival for entrepreneurs and their families.  We look forward to seeing you there.
